Prognosticators Are Predicting a Split Congress

We seem to have reached a conventional wisdom on tomorrow’s elections. Three prognosticators who look at all the individual races and call them one at a time—Charlie Cook, Larry Sabato, and Nate Silver—all agree it is likely the Democrats will win the House and the Republicans will hold the Senate, with the GOP possibly even adding a seat or two in the upper chamber.
